Harold Chino Chisolm, professionally known as CEO Self, is an American rapper, songwriter, producer, podcast host, record executive and businessman hailing from New Haven, Connecticut. Starting off his career in the music industry as a promoter for Funk Flex in the 90s, Ceo Self has successfully navigated his way through the ins and outs of the commercial and independent music space. Signed to Def Jam in 2002 and then Warner Chappell by way of Black Baby Inc. in 2004, as songwriter and producer, Ceo used this time to study and soak up information on how the music industry truly works. In 2009, Ceo used this knowledge and added “publisher” to his repertoire when he opened Reign Forever Group Music Publishing.

Publishing notable works such as, “Racks” by YC & Future , as well as, “Love Yours” by J. Cole. In his time as a publisher, Ceo added a Triple Platinum plaque, a Gold plaque and a SESAC Performance Award to his trophy case, while also securing music placements on major tv networks like Showtime and ESPN. All the accomplishments aside, Ceo just loves to get to work. Ceo Self is also an active Artist Development Specialist, pushing and nurturing artist into making the best product for the consumer, while still encouraging artists to make their music the art they envisioned. Ceo’s capability to work behind the scenes has led him to other positions in the music industry as Marketing Director for Super Producer Bangladesh and Marketing Liaison for Def Jam. His most recent enterprise is the independent music resource agency and record label, Reign Forever Music Group. Ceo Self’s vision is to expand his reach to a global market with a timeless product that will carry a sound that will reign forever.

Future) 2012: VC of Big Play Entertainment (secured $40,000 in lost royalties 2013: Developed The Jade Wilson brand and created the Don’t Give Up Anti-Bullying Campaign increasing the social proof of this artist by 200% as well as negotiated her a record deal with Roc Nation and Bangladesh Music Group
